Life Skills & Personal Development

We seek to give the young people in our care a wide range of different experiences and life lessons to help broaden their outlook on life and the possibilities for their future.

At Plan B we are constantly offering new opportunities whether it be trips to museums, a day with a Chelsea football coach, or a day with a motorcycle race team that frequently offers our young people work experience.

Wherever possible all workshops are linked to an accreditation.

Personal development includes activities that improve awareness and identity,
develop talents and potential, build human capital and facilitate employability.

Enhance quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations.

Personal development is based on boundaries, respect, responsibilities and planning for the future.

It tackles issues such as bullying, peer pressure and crime through discussions and role-plays.

Group discussions give young people the opportunity and confidence to voice their opinions and discuss their experiences.

It also gives the young people the chance to support each other in a safe and positive environment.

Food nutrition involves classes in health, healthy eating, cooking and budgeting.
